Our main objective is to show the natural scenery around Chelva in its most ecological and sustainable form, and raise awareness of clean, responsible local tourism. There are routes to enjoy the environment and culture of the inhabitants of the highlands of the Serrania. The routes are designed for all the family, with an emphasis on sustainability, care of the environment and respect for nature. The proposed routes run along the Ruta del Agua, which was recently awarded Biosphere Reserve status, where a wide variety of wild plants grow that were formerly used for their properties and applications in the preparation of formulas and in delicious recipes. Chelva has many wild places where you can enjoy the natural world. The walks are arranged along the historic streets of Chelva and to the lookout points with fascinating views of the town.
There are in-person workshops and outings to Chelva’s Ruta del Agua to learn about wild plants and their traditional therapeutic and cosmetic applications. There are other outings to practice tai-chi and meditation. There are also personal care products and cosmetics prepared using the natural materials of Alto Turia available for purchase
